Soltane celebrated Halloween this past weekend! It was a great time to get a feel for what students and residents are interested in, since everyone picks their own costume! I also enjoyed seeing the creativity that went into the costumes! My house was in charge of the Halloween festivities. Mary, my householder, planned a costume lantern walk throughout the campus. We would all dress up in costumes and each have a lantern. Starting at the furthest house on campus; we would pick up each house we passed until we reached our final destination, the bonfire! Each house was requested to bring muffins for folks to snack on during the bonfire party. There were some pretty interesting costumes at the bonfire! Our house dressed as a group; we were all robots! Another house on campus all dressed up as zombie gangsters, there were a few Harry Potter characters, and several witches with brooms!
