As of 01/31/2011 Muncie Indiana, as well as the rest of the state, has been coated in ice. The sleeting started around 6 and didn't let up until late into the evening. Every single school in Indiana is closed except, of course, for Ball State (the college I attend). I emailed all of my teachers to inform them I thought it was unsafe to travel to school today, therefore, I wouldn't be there. Within the hour the all canceled class, I guess my input is so valuable they can't have class without me. :) Just Kidding. Apparently last night was just the baby of the storm that's to come today. I went to the store and stocked up on food. I walked out with the essentials. 1 gallon of chocolate milk and 1 package of double stuff Oreos©.
It's currently 11:30 and the sleet hasn't started yet, but I know it will soon. Everyone brace yourself, and go clear out the bread and milk aisles at all the stores? Ok, GO!

Showed Mike the grocery pictures, so he belives me now. New Mexico grocery stores are never like that before a storm because no one ever plans ahead. They look that way after the storm, when people drive through 20 inches of snow to find out the supply truck couldn't get there. Can't wait for spring!!
